Rev. Randy Greenwald

Randy Greenwald was called as pastor of CPC in April and began his term with his installation June 6, 2010. After pastoring in Bradenton, FL for nearly 25 years, he is excited about this new chapter with Covenant. He and his wife Barb are settling into their new surroundings in Oviedo. One of Randy's favorite activities is discovering the locations of different coffee shops. Contact him at randy@cpconline.net

Our Ruling Elders

Mr. Richard Leigh, esq., Ruling Elder
Dick Leigh

Dick Leigh and his wife Sharon have been with CPC for over 35 years. He has served Central Florida during that time as an attorney, active with the local Christian Legal Society and other Christian and charitable works. His compassionate and wise leadership have been a profound blessing to CPC. Dick and Sharon help to plan the activities of the "over 50" fellowship at CPC.

 

 

Mr. Ron Lanphear, Ruling Elder
Ron Lanphear

Also a long time member (over 35 years), Ron is retired from many years in a local business in Central Florida. He has done it all: Deacon, Elder, Sunday School teacher, host (with wife Judy) of countless church picnics, and much much more. Ron also serves as a member of the missions committee, and brings a stability and patience to CPC's leadership.

 

 

Mr. Jonathan "Jon" Boardman, Ruling Elder
Jon Boardman

Jon is a graduate of the University of Florida (B.A. in Communications and English, 1995) and Reformed Theological Seminary (M.Div. 2005). He has taught English at Winter Park High School for over 10 years. He has been married to Zahyra, his college sweetheart, for over 16 years, and together they have three daughters and a son. In the past, Jon has participated with Youth ministry, assisted with the CPC men's fellowship, led Bible studies, and overseen the pulpit and facility committees. He currently supervises Children's Ministries.

 

Mr. Thomas McFadden, III, Ruling Elder
Tom McFadden

Tom and wife Debbie bring a stable and deep commitment to Christ and our heritage. Tom is a graduate of Covenant College, the PCA sponsored college near Chattanooga. Tom brings careful and intentional thinking to his role as a ruling elder. He works for an insurance company as a Claims Manager. His son Thomas is in the United States Marine Corps and his daughter Annagayle will begin her Senior year at Hagerty High school, located in Oviedo, in the Fall of 2010.

 

Mr. Mike Sacasas, Ruling Elder
Mike Sacasas

Mike has been with Covenant since 1999. He came to Orlando to study at Reformed Theological Seminary. After completing his degree, Mike remained in the area teaching at local Christian schools.  While at Covenant, Mike has contributed to the youth and Christian Education programs.  He currently teaches at Belhaven College and is in a Ph.D program at the University of Central Florida. Mike brings a thoughtful presence in his role as an elder, which he has held since 2006. He is married to Sarah and the couple has a sweet beagle named Phoebe.

 

Our Deacons

Mr. David Clow, Deacon
David Clow

David has worked for many years in the computer support division at Campus Crusade for Christ. He and his wife Holly bring a quiet and deeply faithful presence and ministry to CPC. David frequenly helps with youth events. He may even ask you to help with something on Sunday morning , so be ready! David and Holly have two daughters, Rebekah and Julia.

Jason Pauley

Jason brings a deep, quiet commitment to his calling as a servant leader in the church. His energy and availability have proven invaluable to our body.

 

 

 

 

Mr. Reggie Spann, Deacon
Reggie Spann

Reggie balances work and family with needs in the church family. Like the others, he is available when the need arises.

 

 

 

 

Mr. Tim Beaver, Deacon
Tim Beaver

Tim has been a member for many years and serves as church treasurer. He also heads the CPC slides team that is an integral part of the worship service.
