Josiah came to the United States in 2008 from Nairobi, Kenya to study at Reformed Theological Seminary for a Masters of Divinity. The second of four children to Daniel and Lenah Kithongo, he has been involved in church planting, youth and worship ministry since 2000. Having come to Christ through his father's ministry in the African Evangelical Presbyterian Church (AEPC), Josiah continued in the AEPC as youth and mustic director from 2001-2004. He then moved to St. Marks Anglican church to work in the same capacity until 2008.
Josiah's desire after obtaining his M.Div is to return to Nairobi to establish a Christian Resource Center that will "provide biblically sound, and relevant Christian resources to pastors/ministers and discipling young people." Josiah's other passions include futbol, tea (Kenyan, of course), and good conversation. He is also excited about finally obtaining a new guitar for use in worship.
