Tuesday Bible Study
The Women's Bible Study is starting up again! This Bible study is committed to fellowship and the study of God's Word. For the remainder of 2011 it will be held at the home of Amanda Dumas. Study begins at 9:30 A.M. and finishes about noon. For more information call Holly Clow at holyclow@gmail.com. Childcare are welcome.
Book Club
The women's book club meets monthly as a group of women who desire to increase in wisdom, knowledge, and appreciation for life and beauty through reading various forms of literature-both fiction and nonfiction written by authors of various backgrounds. The meeting includes a light lunch, fellowship, and discussion of the book.
The Women’s Book Club is now reading, "Hope Will Find You" by Naomi Levy. The meeting will be on Saturday, January 7 at 1:00 pm. The book selection for February is, "My Dearest Friend: Letters of Abigail and John Adams" by David McCullough. The meeting for this selection will be on Saturday, February 4 at 1:00 pm.
Newcomers and those just interested in checking out what a book club is all about (whether or not you attend CPC) are welcome to attend–even if you haven’t read the book. For more information, contact Sharon Hunt at sharon.hunt@lpl.com.
Women in the Church
CPC has a chapter of Women in the Church (WIC) that is affilated with the PCA. WIC of CPC have regular meetings at 7:00 pm on the last Wednesday of every month. Feel free to contact Judy Lanphear for additional information at Merry1225@aol.com.
Mark your calendars and plan to attend the upcoming Women in the Church Meeting on Wednesday, January 25 at 7:00 pm.
