St. Augustine, bishop of Hippo in North Africa in the fourth century A.D., once said, “Our hearts are restless until they find their rest in Thee.” We live in a restless age. Sunday morning worship allows us to rest in the Lord's presence. Our worship is a God-centered blend of traditions, reaching back to incorporate songs and expressions of worship used by the church throughout the centuries (hymns, congregational prayers, the reciting of creeds and confessions) , as well as incorporating more contemporary aspects in song and liturgy. Covenant also practices the Lord's Supper on a weekly basis.
